Cartier “CPCP WGCC0004” Cloche

Description

First introduced in the 1920s, the Cloche is a storied and famous eccentric design by none other than the masters of interesting design – Cartier.  The unique case shape and dial layout was designed in order to allow for people functioning high performance machinery (cars, planes, boats, etc) to read the time while their wrist was stretched forward, holding a steering wheel.  Reissued very few times over the years, this iteration comes from Cartier’s Collection Prive (CPCP), and was introduced in 2021 in a limited batch of 100 pieces.  This Cartier Cloche remains in excellent pre-owned, barely worn/used, and remaining complete with its original Cartier box and papers.
