This is the nicest example of the Bulova “C” Chronograph, dubbed the “Stars and Stripes” model, we have had the privilege of offering for sale. This watch was introduced in 1970, and was Bulova’s answer to a compression-case chronograph made for use in the water.
The example offered today is in excellent condition, featuring an unpolished case. The dial is superb, not a flaw in sight. The original lume is completely in-tact and present, aging to a pale yellow.
Further, the watch comes fitted on its original mesh bracelet.
These watches are being snatched up left and right by collectors, soaring in popularity as of late. For some extra reading on these iconic watches, head on over to Fratello for a great write-up here.
