Description
Up for grabs is a very uncommon co-signed Breitling, made in conjunction (or for) their American retailer, Wakmann. Produced circa 1960s, this watch bears the Reference 765, and stems from Breitling’s Premier line. Housed in a large, 38mm stainless steel case, this watch also has the added benefit of having a screwback case with pump pushers, arguably the most desirable configuration for chronographs of this era (or of any).
This Breitling chronograph is in very nice vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with clear beveled edges. The dial is attractive, with light spots/patina uniform throughout. The original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a dark brown.
