Offered here is a very rare Breitling Unitime Chronograph, Ref. 1765, produced in the 1960s in limited quantities of about 800 pieces. These watches feature a 24-hour dial and bezel, and a very unique “big eye” register layout – the minute counter on the right hand side is larger than the other seconds and hour counters, giving the watch a very distinctive appearance.
This Breitling Unitime is in excellent condition. The case does not show signs of overpolishing, if any at all, with original bevels still present in the lugs. The dial is in great condition with no serious wear. The original tritium lume is still entirely present in both dial and hands, aged to a pale yellow color.
