SOLD
Description
Offered here is an excellent example of a 1960s Breitling Top Time chronograph, Ref. 2002, featuring a reverse-panda dial. This reference was famously (albeit less well-known than its Rolex counterparts) used by James Bond in the movie Thunderball, with a similar black panda dial and a modified case for Mr. Bond’s adventures. This example features a Venus 188 movement, and has a black dial that has begun to naturally age to a brown, tropical color. The watch itself is in good vintage condition, with an unpolished case, great dial with no major wear, and with original tritium lume still present in both dial (however, with various partial or full loss to various plots) and hands, aged a nice yellow color.
