SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a panda configuration chronograph from Breitling’s Top Time “Long Playing” line, circa late 1960s, early 1970s. The term ÒLong PlayingÓ referred to Breitling Top Time watches with a long mainspring, which allowed for a 52 hour power reserve. These watches appeal to collectors for their large, 38mm case size, compared to the traditional 35-36mm Top Time line.
This Breitling Long Playing chronograph is in good vintage condition. The case is unpolished and in great condition, with only light surface scratches. The silver/white sunburst dial shows only light fade towards the top, between 11-12 o’clock, visible at an angle. The original lume is still present, and has aged to a darker brown color.
