Breitling “AOPA 24-Hour & Full-Set” Navitimer

Up for grabs is a stunning, mint, and complete Breitling AOPA 24-Hour “Cosmonaute”, given the reference 806. This example is housed in a gold-plated case, and is fitted with a 24-hour black glossy gilt dial.

This Breitling Navitimer is in amazing condition. The case is unpolished, and some of the plating has worn and aged, giving the watch a “tarnish” patina, that really looks amazing. The dial is in spectacular condition – it is completely glossy, with no flaws visible. The original lume is still present in both hands and dial, aging to a creamy patina color. The caseback has been marked “809”, which has been crossed out (by Breitling), and re-stamped 806, as Breitling often used these cases interchangeably during transitions/conversions.

This watch comes with its original warranty and instructional booklets, and original box. The watch also comes on a Breitling stamped leather strap and buckle, albeit likely added later.
