Up for grabs is a popular example of an early Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, circa 2000, in solid 18kt yellow gold, reference 25594BA. This watch was given the nickname “The Owl”, due to the dial layout resembling that of an owl, and it is fitted with day, date and moonphase calendar complications. These watches come in at a contemporary 36mm, and are powered by an automatic movement. The condition of this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is very good. The case appears unpolished and sharp, with strong original bevels. The dial is in good condition, with no major wear or damage, and a light patina/aging setting in around the outer perimeter of the dial, giving the dial a very unique look. Likewise, the bracelet is in good condition with no stretch, and will fit an approximate 7″ wrist. Importantly, this particular Royal Oak comes complete with its original Audemars Piguet boxes, AP service box, Warranty Certificate, and instructional manual.
