Audemars Piguet “14486ST” Royal Oak

Up for grabs is a quirky 1980-1990s mid-size Royal Oak, the reference 14486. The 14486 was successor to the reference 4100, enlarging the case slightly, before AP transitioned to the even larger 14790. The 14486 was produced for around 10 years, and just under 2000 pieces were made in total.

The condition of this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is great. The case has been expertly detailed and shows sharp lines and factory-like bevels in the case, bracelet and bezel. The original slate dial shows no wear or peeling, and retains its original tritium lume. The watch comes with an Audemars Piguet service card and travel box, benefitting from a service by AP, wherein they likely equipped the watch with service replacement hands. The bracelet will fit an approximate 7.1-7.2″ wrist.
