Description
Up for grabs is a rare and striking Alpina monopusher chronograph, circa 1930s. Fitted in a sturdy and oversized fixed-bars nickel-chrome case, this Alpina features a gorgeous sector and snail dial. The sector layers stand out for the application of a reflective burgundy coat, which gives it a sunburst/sparkling appearance. The inner-telemeter scale was done in red to match the reflective sector chapter ring.
This Alpina chronograph is in great condition. The case is in great condition, as it is built entirely of nickel-chrome, and not chrome-plated. The dial is downright beautiful, with no visible flaws, and aged to a light patina cream color throughout.
