SOLD
Description
Offered here is a great example of the popular Mido “Multi-Centerchrono”, circa early 1940s. The Mido Multi-Centerchrono is a chronograph that utilizes two chronographs hand – one to function as a chronograph sweep hand, and the second to count down the minutes from the chronograph function – in lieu of a traditional minutes register. This particular example features the later flat, step lugs steel case, and is outfitted with a luminescent two-tone dial.
This example is in great condition. The case does not show signs of polishing. The dial is near perfect, showing light patina, and having aged to a warm, cream color. The original lume is still present in both hands and dial, and has aged to a warm patina color that meshes well with the color of the dial.
