Up for grabs is a special watch – a Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8, built with a striking blue guilloche dial — one of independent watchmaking’s most respected offerings, hand-finished entirely in-house at Voutilainen’s atelier in Motiers, Switzerland. The 39mm case carries Voutilainen’s signature teardrop lugs and onion crown, while the dial itself is a true masterpiece — hand-turned on historic rose-engine lathes, combining multiple guilloche textures across the dial with applied gold numerals with red accents, and Voutilainen’s distinctive “observatoire” hands. This watch is powered by a fully in-house Caliber 28 — the movement at the heart of the entire Vingt-8 line — featuring dual escape wheels and a direct impulse escapement for exceptional efficiency, along with some of the greatest hand finishing in the business. The watch is in great used condition and comes as a full set, with its original Kari Voutilainen box & papers, originally produced in 2018.
