Description
Offered here is an uncommon Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, reference 1530, circa 1974. While sharing the same case as the Rolex Oysterquartz, this model was fitted with an automatic movement, with an estimated production of around 1,500 pieces. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date is in very excellent vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past, but shows nice definition in the lugs, and is devoid of major wear. The dial is immaculate, and more so, has all of its original tritium lume in tact on both dial and hands, aged to a lovely pumpkin color. The watch remains on its original integrated Rolex 96660 bracelet, has 12 full links and almost no stretch.
