Record “Two-Color Gilt” Chronograph
SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is an incredibly rare Record Geneve chronograph, circa 1950s. This particular chronograph was built in a 36mm steel screwback/waterproof case, and powered by a Venus 178 movement. However, what sets this watch apart is the breathtaking two-color gilt dial, made with both a golden and copper color inlay. The watch itself is in superb condition, remaining unpolished and sharp, and likewise, the original gilt dial remains glossy and extremely well-preserved. In addition, the watch retains its factory radium lume in both the dial and hands, aged to a lovely orange color.
