SOLD
Description
Offered here is a stunning example of the popular 1960s Omega Seamaster 300, Ref. 165.024, featuring a “No Date” dial, sword hands, and a stunning bakelite rotating bezel. This example is in great vintage condition. The case appears unpolished, with beautifully beveled, twisted lugs. The dial is excellent, devoid of any flaws, scratches, or marks; the original, Omega-signed crystal is in-tact. The original tritum lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow color. The “fat font” bakelite bezel was exceptionally well-preserved, with no cracks, and normal aging.
The watch comes fitted on its original folded-link, 1506 bracelet, with 516 endlinks, and is dated to the 3rd quarter of 1967. The bracelet is in excellent shape with virtually no stretch, and still has its expandable links; the band will fit an approximate 7″ wrist.
