Offered here is a very attractive example of a Rolex Submariner, featuring the date window at 3 o’clock, the Reference 1680. This Submariner dates to 1978, in the middle of production for the “white” 1680s. This Rolex Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in excellent condition, with no flaws, chips, marks, etc. The tritium lume is original and present on both the dial and hands, aged to a vibrant yellow color. The original and period correct bezel insert is in likewise good condition, with minimal wear.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and has 11 full links with light stretch.
