Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1970. This example features the so-called “matte” dial variant, which features a rich maroon color. Further, this example comes complete as a “full-set” with its original Rolex box, “punched” Warranty Certificate, and booklet (as pictured).
This Rolex GMT-Master is in great vintage condition. The case has been lightly polished in the past, showing thick and even lugs, and some bevels still visible. The dial is gorgeous, with no wear/damage whatsoever. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a gorgeous yellow color.
