SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a great example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example dates to 1993, with a rare “Inverted 6” dial, and has its original Rolex box and “punched” Warranty Certificate, and original sales receipts from the original sale in 1993 in Peru.
This Rolex Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case has been detailed in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume; however, please note, the hour and minute hand appear to be Rolex service replacement parts. The bezel shows only minor detail loss, and is overall well preserved.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390/503B Oyster bracelet, with 11 full links, and minor stretch.
