Up for grabs is one of the most popular vintage chronographs on the planet right now. Widely known for its use by NASA, the Wittnauer Professional Chronograph, Ref. 242T, was tested for use in space, a contract that we know eventually go to Omega. Powered by a Valjoux 72 and housed in a 38mm case, this watch has a lot going for it.
This Wittnauer 242T chronograph is in mint condition. The dial is perfect, and the lume is all-original, with the lume in the hands aging to a green hue, a common occurence in this model. The case is thick and even, and is unpolished, with the original bevels present.
