Description
The Vacheron Constantin 222 was first released in 1977 to celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the brand. This watch was born in the same era as the Nautilus and the Royal Oak, famously designed by Gerald Genta, and during a time when Swiss watchmaking was redefining itself in the face of the Quartz Crisis. This model is VC’s new reincarnation of the original Jorg Hysek-designed 222. This particular Vacheron Constantin 222 is a reference 4200H/222J-B935, released in 2022 and only in yellow gold. The watch itself is in good condition with light wear from use (specifically, a few scuffs to the case and bracelet, which can be detailed upon request), with an unpolished case and fully-linked bracelet. This watch comes full-set with the original box, booklets and card (originally sold in 2022).
