SOLD
Description
Offered here is a stunning example of a rare Universal Geneve Tri-Compax, circa 1950s. Housed in an uncommon, 14kt yellow gold high-pressure snapback case with pump pushers, this particular model shares the same “twisted” lug case style as their steel, screwback counterparts. These watches were some of the most complicated and advanced wristwatches for their time, and this particular example dates to 1960.
The watch itself is in very well-preserved condition. The yellow gold case has been lightly polished in the past, with defined, twisted lugs still prevalent. The white dial is one of the best we’ve ever come across, absolutely mint.
