Offered here is hands-down one of the rarest watches we have had the pleasure of offering. Produced circa 1930-1940s, this Ulysse Nardin time-only “Calatrava”-style watch was housed in a fixed bars and stepped-lugs 18kt Yellow Gold case, and fitted with an incredibly attractive black glossy gilt dial, with oversized arabic numerals. Measuring just over 37mm, this watch is truly a rarity in the vintage watch world.
This Ulysse Nardin Time-Only is in great vintage condition. The yellow gold case is unpolished and very sharp, with the bevels in the stepped lugs very prominent. The dial is still very glossy, and only shows minor hairline/dragmarks in the center of the dial at an angle, and under a loupe.
