Tudor “Snowflake” Submariner

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a Tudor “Snowflake” Submariner, circa 1979, the “no-date” Reference 94010.  Tudor is better known as the “sister” brand to Rolex – originally formed as a more affordable alternative to that of a Rolex.  In recent years, Tudor has exploded in popularity amongst collectors, with prices often eclipsing those of their Rolex counterparts.  This example is a highly sought-after “Snowflake” Submariner, so-called for the snowflake-like appearance of the hour hand.

This Tudor Submariner is in excellent vintage condition.  The case has never been polished, with original bevels still visible, and normal wear.  The dial is in great condition, with no flaws visible.  The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow, and a slight lighter shade in the hands.

Please Note: this watch has never been opened (until now), and thus, has never been serviced.  It is running well still, keeping good time, and can be serviced upon request.
