SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a Tudor “Snowflake” Submariner, circa 1976, the “no-date” Reference 94010. Tudor is better known as the “sister” brand to Rolex – originally formed as a more affordable alternative to that of a Rolex. In recent years, Tudor has exploded in popularity amongst collectors, with prices often eclipsing those of their Rolex counterparts. This example is a highly sought-after “Snowflake” Submariner, so-called for the snowflake-like appearance of the hour hand, and the fact that it does not have a “date” function, giving the dial a clean look.
This Tudor Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with original bevels still visible. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws visible. The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a nice creamy yellow color. The watch comes equipped on a Rolex folded-link 7836 bracelet with 380 endlinks, and has 13 full links with minimum stretch.
