Tudor "7966/0" Ranger

Tudor “7966/0” Ranger

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is an exceedingly rare Tudor Ranger circa 1966, which was re-released by Tudor in recent years.  This watches have become an enigma amongst collectors, as they are increasingly difficult to find, large in part due to the fact that they are very often faked, and very few genuine examples exist nowadays.  The Ranger was produced only for a short time in the 1960s by Tudor, and came in a no-date format, as well as the present date model.  This Tudor Ranger is in great vintage condition.  The case does not show signs of polishing (if done, was very light), with normal wear over the years. The dial is gorgeous, with no visible flaws; likewise for the original tritium lume, aged to a nice yellow color.  Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex folded-link 7835-19 bracelet, with 357 endlinks, and has 13 full links, with light stretch.
