Description
Up for grabs is a beautiful example of a Rolex Submariner, Reference 5513, circa 1980. This example features a desirable 1st execution (MK1) “Maxi” dial, denoting the larger size of the lume plots, as compared to the Submariner’s predecessors.
This Rolex Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no major wear, chips or scratches. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice vivid yellow color. The bezel insert is period correct to this reference, and is in good condition, with no major wear.
The watch comes equipped with a flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and is in good condition with 10 full links and light stretch.
