Description
Offered here is an early and stunning Rolex Date, reference 1500, circa 1971. This particular Rolex Date was fitted with an uncommon silver/grey sunburst dial. The watch itself is in great vintage condition. The case was likely lightly polished in the past, but retaining thick and even lugs. Further, the dial is stunning, with no visible wear. Likewise, the watch retains its original tritium lume on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow on the dial, and aged darker in the hands. The watch comes fitted on its original Rolex Swiss folded-link 7835 bracelet with 257 endlinks, and dated to the 4th quarter of 1971; the bracelet has 11 full links with some stretch.
