This is a gorgeous and super rare example of a 1940s oversized (read:huge) Omega Calatrava, with a spectacular two-tone dial, in stainless steel. These watches were traditionally housed in smaller cases, and 39mm was not only considered very large for the era, but very sparingly made.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The steel case is unpolished and in great shape. The two-tone dial is beautiful, and features both applied and inlay numerals/markers. The dial has one minor scratch between the 4 and 5 o’clock markers.
