SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example dates to 1994, in the middle of production.
This Rolex Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case has been lightly polished in the past, but retains nice thick and even lugs, and most of the original caseback sticker on the back. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume. Further, the registers have begun to age to a nice “Patrizzi” brown color.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390 Oyster bracelet with 503B endlinks, and has 20 full links, and virtually no stretch.
