SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, reference 1675, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1974-75. This example features the so-called “nipple” dial, due to the smaller hour markers.
The Rolex GMT-Master offered here is in great vintage condition. The case has been lighlty polished, retaining thick and even lugs. The early matte-version dial is gorgeous, with no chips, scratches or marks. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color. The watch comes fitted on its original and uncommon Rolex Swiss folded-link 7836 two-tone bracelet with 282 endlinks, and dates to 1976; the bracelet shows very light stretch, and has 13 full links.
