Rolex "Tiffany & Co. Two-Tone" Datejust

SOLD

Rolex “Tiffany & Co. Two-Tone” Datejust

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a stunning and incredibly rare two-tone Rolex Datejust, retailed by the famous “Tiffany & Co.”, circa 1991. This example bears the Reference 16233, and is in two-tone steel and gold; it is fitted with a champagne dial and applied roman numerals which has been “co-signed” by Tiffany & Co., meaning the watch was stamped specifically for retail sales within their stores.

The watch itself is in great vintage condition.  The case was possibly lightly polished in the past, or even unpolished with just normal wear from use.  The dial is beautiful, with absolutely no damage or wear.  Further, the original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with nice plots, aged to a cream color.  The watch comes on its original Rolex Jubilee bracelet, with the code 62523H on the clasp, and 455B endpieces, with little stretch.
