Rolex “Tiffany & Co. 1675/8” GMT-Master

Offered here is an exceptional and rare Rolex GMT-Master, reference 1675/8 in 18kt yellow gold, circa 1969. While the GMT itself is no rare watch, what sets this Rolex GMT-Master apart from the others is the fact that it was sold by the retailer “Tiffany & Co.”, back during an era when Rolex watches were sold through Tiffany stores.  Tiffany signed Rolex are tremendously collectible and very difficult to find.

Further, the condition on this Tiffany-signed Rolex GMT-Master is great. The case has been professionally polished in the past, showing thick and even lugs, and nicely defined beveled edges.  The early-variant lacquer dial is in great condition, with no major flaws or marks, save for one very small tool mark through the “N” in Tiffany, only visible under a loupe.  In similar fashion, the watch retains its original tritium lume on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow color.  Further, the watch retains its original all-brown GMT-insert with silver print.

Finally, the watch is fitted on a Rolex Swiss Jubilee bracelet, dated to 1971, and it appears fully linked with light stretch.
