Description
Offered here is a stunning example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 1 “Long E” dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 21xxxxx, dating this watch to 1968.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case has been lightly polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs, and still has original beveled edges visible. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in perfect condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a downright breathtaking pumpkin-orange color. The original “mega fat font”-“Pepsi” bezel insert is in perfect condition, with almost no wear, and a lovely light fade, aging the red portion a nice maroon hue.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex folded-link 7836/258 bracelet, dated to 1970, and has 12 full links with minor stretch.
