Rolex “MK2 1675” GMT-MasterRolex “MK2 1675” GMT-MasterRolex “MK2 1675” GMT-MasterUp for grabs is a lovely example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a rare MK2 (Mark 2) dial, only used for a short period of time in the early 1970s. The serial of this GMT-Master is 31xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971.
The watch itself is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, with thick and even lugs, and nicely defined edges. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in great condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial, aged to a lovely yellow color; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. Finally, original “redback” Pepsi bezel insert is in nice condition, with virtually no wear.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex 78360 with 580 endlinks, with no stretch, and has 10 full links.
