Description
Up for grabs is a rare Rolex Seadweller, nicknamed the “Great White”, circa 1981, in beautiful condition. The Sea-Dweller was designed for diving under extreme depths, and were thus fitted with a helium escape valve on the left-hand side of the case, which was used to release pressure as it built up under water.
This Rolex “Great White” Sea-Dweller is in great vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with original beveled edges. The dial is in excellent condition, with no wear, marks, chips etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both hands and dial, aged to a nice dark yellow color. The insert is original and period correct for this reference. The watch comes fitted on an original Rolex Oyster flip-lock 93150/585 bracelet, with 10 full links and no stretch.
