Description
Offered here is a beautiful example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 2 dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 30xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971. The watch comes complete with its original Rolex box, “punched” Guarantee Certificate, and miscellaneous accessories.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case was likely very lightly polished, remaining very sharp, with factory beveled edges. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in perfect condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a lovely dark yellow/pumpkin color. The original “Pepsi” bezel insert has aged to a very distinct fade in the blue, and a rich burgundy color in the red.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Swiss Jubilee bracelet with 55 endlinks and dating to 1972, and will fit a large wrist, with light stretch.
