Description
Offered here is an incredible example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 2 dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 29xxxxx, dating this watch to 1970. The watch comes complete with its original Rolex box and “punched” Guarantee Certificate.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with factory beveled edges and still retaining its original caseback sticker. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in perfect condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color on the dial, and aging slightly darker in the hands. The original “Pepsi” bezel insert has remained in excellent condition, with a lovely fade/color change to orange hue.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 7836 folded-link bracelet with 280 endlinks, dated to 1971 and has 12 full links, in impeccable condition with no stretch.
