Rolex “Full-Set MK2 1675” GMT-Master

Description

Offered here is a beautiful example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 2 dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 30xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971.  The watch comes complete with its original Rolex box, “punched” Guarantee Certificate, and original store receipt, showing the original sale of the watch to August of 1973 in Saudi Arabia.

The watch itself is in excellent condition.  The case appears unpolished, remaining very sharp, with factory beveled edges. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in perfect condition.  The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a light yellow color. The original “Pepsi” bezel insert has remained in great condition, with a lovely “blue jeans” fade.

The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 7836 folded-link bracelet with 380 endlinks.  The inner clasp of the bracelet has been replaced with a service clasp, although the original clasp dated to 1971 is included (with some wear), and the bracelet itself has 13 full links with light stretch.
