Description
Offered here is a beautiful example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 2 dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 30xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971. The watch comes complete with its original Rolex box (missing pillow inside), “punched” Guarantee Certificate, and original store Guarantee certificate.
The watch itself is in excellent condition. The case was likely very lightly polished, remaining very sharp, with factory beveled edges. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in perfect condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color. The original “Pepsi” bezel insert has remained in excellent condition, with a lovely “blue jeans” fade.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 7836 folded-link bracelet with 380 endlinks, dated to 1972 and has 13 full links, with minimal stretch.
