Rolex “Full-Set 1675 Matte” GMT-Master

Up for grabs is a lovely example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”. The serial of this GMT-Master is 5.4m dating this watch to 1978, and it features an “MK5” dial.  Further, this example comes complete with its original Rolex box, booklet, and “punched” Warranty Certificate, showing the original date of sale in 1981 in Austria.

The watch itself is in great vintage condition.  The case has been polished in the past but remains thick and even. The dial is mint, with no flaws. Further, the original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a nice creamy color. Finally, the original “Pepsi” bezel insert has aged and faded to a striking light blue and pink color.

The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Swiss 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 550 endlinks, dating to 1979. The bracelet appears fully link, and shows stretch consistent with these older Jubilee bracelets, although still entirely usable. The buckle shows a neat and light engraving from a prior owner, and can be removed upon request.
