Offered here is a Rolex Explorer II, reference 16570, circa 1990, with tritium dial. This example is fitted with a black dial, and is before Rolex transitioned to their “no holes” cases. Included in the sale is the watch’s original Rolex box and paperwork (Guarantee Certificate, booklets, etc.)
This Rolex Explorer II is in great vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs The dial and bezel are in great condition, with no defects. Further, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice creamy color on the dial, and remains a shade lighter in the hands. The watch is fitted on a Rolex Oyster flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 501B endlinks, and has 10 full links with virtually no stretch.
