Up for grabs is a stunning example of a Rolex Datejust, Ref. 1603, circa 1971. This Datejust features a fluted bezel, and a light grey, sunburst dial with applied black enamel markers. Further, the watch comes complete as a full-set, including its original Rolex box, and two sets of “punched” papers (Warranty Certificate and “Your Rolex Oyster” booklet.
The condition of this Rolex Datejust is great. The case has likely been lightly polished in the past, with thick and even lugs. The dial is mint, with no blemishes in sight. Likewise, the original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a vibrant and beautiful yellow. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex USA Jubilee band, and is heavily worn/stretched, as these bands tend to get, but still completely usable.
