Offered here is a Rolex Day-Date, reference 19018, circa 1976, under the “Oysterquartz” line. These quartz watches were produced in the 1970-80s during the “quartz crisis”, and have risen in popularity as of late as an interesting footnote in horological history. This particular Rolex Oysterquartz Day-Date is housed in 18kt yellow gold and features a rare burlwood dial, not often seen in the OysterQuartz line. The watch itself remains in amazing condition, unpolished and retaining sharp lines/bevels on the lugs, and the bracelet will fit an approximate 7.5″ wrist with minor stretch.
