Offered here is a Rolex Day-Date, reference 19018, circa 1982, under the “Oysterquartz” line. These quartz watches were produced in the 1980s during the “quartz crisis”, and have risen in popularity as of late as an interesting footnote in horological history. This particular Rolex Oysterquartz Day-Date is housed in 18kt yellow gold and features a white dial with applied gold roman numeral markers. The watch itself remains in great condition, detailed in the past but retaining sharp lines/bevels on the lugs, and the bracelet appears fully-linked with minor stretch.
