Rolex “1680 Red” Submariner

Description

Up for grabs is a very attractive example of the popular Rolex “Red Sub” Submariner, Reference 1680. Bearing a serial of 3.3 million, this watch dates the watch to 1972, and has a “feet first” “MK4” dial.

This Rolex “Red” Sub is in great vintage condition. The case has been lightly polished in the past, showing thick and even lugs and some bevels still visible.  The dial is beautiful, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with a nice yellow color.  The watch comes on a Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, in good condition with no stretch and 10 full links.

Please Note: the previous owner preferred to wear the watch fitted with a high-dome crystal with no date window; we can revert it back to a standard crystal with date window upon request.
