Up for grabs is a very attractive example of the popular Rolex “Red Sub” Submariner, Reference 1680. Bearing a serial of 3.2 million, this dates the watch to 1971, and has a “feet first” “MK5” dial.
This Rolex “Red” Sub is in amazing vintage condition. The case is razor sharp and unpolished, with original factory bevels in the lugs. The dial is beautiful, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice cream color. The watch comes on a Rolex Oyster folded-link 9315 bracelet with 380 endlinks, and has 11 full links with light stretch.
Further, this watch has benefitted from a recent Rolex service, and will include the RSC card and receipt.
