Rolex “16750 Matte” GMT-Master

Description

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1984.  The reference 16750 was a transitional reference for Rolex, from the 1675, which introduced their new Caliber 3075 movement, and changed the date function to a quick-set. This Rolex GMT-Master is in great vintage condition.  The case appears very, very lightly polished, with original chamfers/beveled edges present, showing wear from use over the years. The dial is in perfect condition, with no flaws whatsoever. Further, the watch retains its original tritium on both dial and hands, aged to a pale yellow color. The original “Pepsi” redback insert has aged to a cool looking “faded blue jeans” look.  The watch comes equipped on a Rolex Swiss 78360 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and has 11 full links with no stretch.
