Rolex “16528 Zenith” Daytona

Up for grabs is an excellent example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith.  Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards.  This particular example was produced at the end of their production, circa 1999 (A-serial).

This Rolex Daytona is in nice vintage condition.  The case is unpolished and sharp, with normal wear from use, and a small ding in the bottom left lug. The dial is in great condition, with no major flaws or marks.  Likewise, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands.  The bezel shows no detail/color loss.  The Rolex gold Oyster 78398 bracelet has 11 full links and no stretch.
