Up for grabs is one of our favorite Pateks of all time – the Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, reference 3970EP, fitted with a lacquered black dial and complemented by beautiful and subtle diamond hour markers, housed in a platinum case.

Many collectors and enthusiasts unanimously concur that the 3970 is the last great “bargain” in the vintage Patek world, where other comparable perpetual calendar chronographs, either produced earlier or later, cannot be bought in the same price range as 3970s.  This particular example comes complete, with its original Patek Philippe winding box, Certificate of Origin (originally sold in 2002 in the USA), booklets/brochures, original Patek Philippe leather strap and matching platinum deployment buckle, extra solid caseback, and pin pusher.

This Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph is in excellent pre-owned condition. The case has never been polished, with strong bevels and crisp hallmarks, overall very well-preserved.
