Patek Philippe “Double-Blue 3862/1” Ellipse

Offered here is a stunning and uncommon Patek Philippe Ellipse, circa 1970s, reference 3862/1.  This particular Ellipse was made in 18kt yellow gold (with integrated yellow gold bracelet), fit with a two-tone blue sunburst dial, and powered by an automatic movement.  The condition of this Patek Philippe Ellipse is overall very good.  First, the case appears unpolished, with strong and visible hallmarks on the outside of the caseback; the bracelet has been sized in the past, and will fit an approximate 7.2″ wrist.  Second, the dial is largely well-preserved, with some light wear/aging, most noticeably at the edge of the dial by 7 o’clock.
